Easter Hockey Fun

I know, I know . . . We're supposed to keep our blogs focused. But I just couldn't help adding this post simply for a bit of fun. Since my children are all grown up, I haven't bothered, in recent years, to color eggs for Easter. This used to be something we looked forward to each year, but alas, all good things come to an end.
However, this year my son got these cool egg 'jackets' from his sister as part of his birthday present. It was more of a joke, really, since he is a big hockey fanatic and all.
It seemed fitting that we waited until Easter to use them AND - double bonus - the NHL hockey playoffs are on right now, too. How 'fitting'! (Unfortunately, my team isn't doing so well ...)

As you can see, all the 'jackets' are from Canadian teams. Yes, we Canadians do love our hockey ...
